Press Operator – Permanent – 3rd Shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) – Location: Delhi, LA, USA – Department: Extrusion – Career Area: Production What we offer you

3rd shift 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. What you will be doing
Operate various equipment (mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools). Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper safety devices (guarding) are in place and notify supervisor or foreperson of any safety concerns. Perform basic set‑up on equipment. Read and interpret various gauging equipment (digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges). Visually inspect workpiece before and after machining for defects. Maintain all records on job assignments in a correct and timely manner, on paper and in the computer. Maintain Q.C. checks on the operation in process. Ensure that all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly. What will make you successful?
Understanding of safety, quality, and production processes. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Equal opportunities
