As a senior trial attorney, you will lead cases from start to finish, working alongside a skilled team that shares your passion for excellence. You will take charge of your own caseload, handling every phase of litigation – from drafting pleadings and motions to making court appearances and taking depositions. We are looking for someone who thrives on strategy, loves courtroom advocacy, and brings a sharp understanding of the California Probate Code, Code of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code.
Ideal Candidate
You’ve first- or second-chaired at least five trials in trust and probate litigation and love the thrill of trial work. You are comfortable in the courtroom, at depositions, and at the negotiating table, with a knack for persuasive writing and case strategy. You are personable, easily building strong relationships with clients while earning the respect of opposing counsel. You are committed to achieving the best outcomes for your clients, balancing aggressive advocacy with professional diplomacy. Qualifications
Five (5)+ years Attorneys who handle trusts and estate litigation matters. Prepared for and attended a minimum of 25 depositions and five trials, organizing, saving and uploading evidence for virtual depositions Deep knowledge and understanding of the Probate Code, CRC, and CCP. Ability to proactively run a case from inception through trial within minimal supervision. Tech savvy Proficient in MS Office suites. Proficient with Clio Comfortable with meeting minimum billable requirements and time entry systems. Team player. How To Apply
