Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney | Fort Lauderdale, FL (In Office)
A well-established and respected Florida law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator with experience in probate, guardianship, and trust-related disputes who enjoys courtroom work and hands-on responsibility in a collaborative, in-office environment.
What You'll Do
- Handle contested probate, trust, and guardianship litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, mediations, and depositions
- Represent beneficiaries, fiduciaries, personal representatives, and guardians in disputed matters
- Litigate claims involving will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, and capacity issues
- Manage discovery, including depositions and motion practice
- Work closely with clients to provide strategic, compassionate, and solutions-oriented advocacy
- Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators in a fast-paced, trial-focused practice
What We're Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- Litigation experience in trust and estate, probate, guardianship, or related civil litigation matters
- Strong courtroom presence and comfort handling hearings and contested matters
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Professional, client-facing communication style
