Butterfly Effects' Mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism.

We are seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. Join us in collaborating with families to execute ABA based behavior intervention plans.

Competitive Compensation: Earn $19.00 - $28.00 hourly, based on your experience, education, and certifications.

This is a permanent position requiring a 6‑7 month availability commitment. (This is not fit for a short‑term summer role)

Part‑Time: Weekdays only

Sessions are held between 3 and 7 pm, sessions are 3 hours per day.

Position Duties

Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board‑Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).

Observe, record, and report on client’s progress, behavior and condition daily.

Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.

Assist clients to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills as needed.

Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, behavioral analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.

Act as an active member of the treatment team.

Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes accurately and timely through our online database.

Actively participate in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.

Maintain confidentiality of client information.

Follow BE policies and procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Genuine love for working with children.

Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.

Prior experience with children is advantageous.

Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with name listed.

Possession of a tablet or laptop computer for use during sessions (not just a smartphone).

Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.

Physical Requirements This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
