Maintenance Manager
Innospec Performance Chemicals is looking for a Maintenance Manager for its North Carolina operations. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for developing, leading and optimizing the maintenance departments at the Salisbury and High Point manufacturing locations. This role will focus on implementing long-term maintenance strategies, increasing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
Essential Functions
Support daily maintenance operations across both NC sites.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Support and/or manage CAPEX projects.
Improve and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Monitor and develop KPIs and use data to drive maintenance decisions.
Utilize CMMS or similar tools to aid in establishing a world class maintenance organization.
Prepare and manage maintenance budgets.
Optimize resource allocation and control costs.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage service agreements.
Support other assignments by leadership
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
10+ years' experience in maintenance management required.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or automated systems, required.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Extensive knowledge of OSHA requirements and industrial workplace practices
Experience with batch chemical reactor systems (stainless steel and glass lined).
Experience with steam boiler and hot oil heating systems.
Experience with welding, pipe fitting, rotating equipment, utilities, instrumentation, and basic electrical wiring.
