Receive and inventory spare and replacement parts and organize and store them properly as directed by management.
Maintain work area(s) cleanly and safely. Maintains housekeeping in assigned areas to plant and AIB standards.
Must possess or obtain a valid DMME general mineral miner card (within the first 6 months of employment).
Heavy fabrication and welding of equipment, pipe, mounting frames, and supports.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Maintain PM records, checklists, work permits, and other plant documents as needed.
Perform inspections and testing of equipment.
Repairs equipment such as, but not limited to: Boiler, Centrifuge, Dryer, Compressors, Conveyors, Bagger, Palletizer, Wrapper, and Shakers.
Prepare PM sheets and documentation for equipment.
Perform callouts during off‑hours to maintain salt production and packaging.
Safety inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
Must possess or obtain all applicable certifications and training necessary to perform Mig, Tig, Arc, and Gas welding on piping, structural steel, and repairs as needed (within the first 6 months of employment)
Other duties as assigned.
