What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Monitor and analyze federal and state laws impacting government programs, ensuring compliance with legal obligations
Provide guidance in developing policies and procedures to support operational compliance across teams
Coordinate compliance audits, ensuring accurate and timely responses for Medicare Part C and Managed Medicaid
Assist with onboarding new government program customers, integrating compliance requirements into operations
Conduct internal audits to assess compliance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managed care setting
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with managed care laws affecting Medicare Advantage and/or managed Medicaid
Demonstrated experience in regulatory affairs and operations of HMOs and Managed Care Organizations
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage guidelines and state regulations applicable to Managed Medicaid
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master’s degree, JD, or paralegal experience preferred
Advanced legal research skills and exceptional organizational and analytical abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
