Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of plumbing operations on construction sites, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Read, interpret, and work from mechanical and plumbing drawings, plans, and specifications to determine layout and installation of plumbing systems.
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule plumbing crew activities, ensuring effective utilization and progress on schedule.
Inspect and test plumbing systems and components to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to the plumbing crew, addressing issues and resolving complex problems.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to align plumbing work with the overall project plan.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and issues encountered, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Foreman role within the mechanical construction industry.
At least 10 years of experience in commercial plumbing, with strong understanding of commercial and industrial plumbing systems (hydronic, domestic water, gas piping, and drainage).
Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing drawings, plans, and specifications.
Strong leadership skills and proven ability to effectively manage and coordinate a team of skilled tradespeople.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
