We are looking for Bilingual (Spanish/English) Call Center Agents to add to our growing team. We provide on the job PAID training. Previous call center work is a plus, but is not required. If you have excelled in any customer service industry, know your way around computers, have a friendly and positive attitude and have excellent writing and communication skills, then this position is for you!
TelAssist is a well‑established local Call Center/Answering Service. When you are locked out of your home at midnight and you call the locksmith, you are likely speaking to a call center agent. When your child is sick and you need medical advice, our compassionate agents take your call and reassure you that an on‑call doctor will be reached. In short, we answer our customers' calls when they can't.
Compensation $21 / Hour with Perfect Attendance. Compensation without perfect attendance is $18 / Hour.
A Day in the Life of a Call Center Agent After you have been fully trained, you will log in at the start of your shift and be ready to begin taking calls. Your job will be to professionally handle incoming calls, greet callers in a positive and helpful way, provide and request required information, transfer calls, or take messages as necessary. We are an inbound call center only; we do not perform any outbound or sales calls.
What we’re looking for from our applicants
Bilingual—fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both Spanish and English
Must be available to work a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday each week)
Holiday work required
A welcoming voice with an upbeat tone
Strong spelling and grammar
Computer skills
Dependability
The ability to type 35 words per minute or more
