Job Description You will serve as the Field Operation (FO) Director for the Lines of Business (LOBs), responsible for supporting sustainment operations and delivering sustainment products and services.

What You Will Be Doing

Directing and executing sustainment operations to achieve schedule, technical, and quality performance targets in support of LOB strategies, goals, and objectives.

Providing strategic guidance to facilitate new business growth and business retention, ensuring fulfillment of customer needs and satisfaction.

Leading field support activities, including onsite field support, non‑air vehicle product support, and integrating delivery of product support solutions.

Managing and ensuring the delivery of Product Support Resources, reviewing and determining if requirements are supportable.

Deploying planning and contingency operations integration, and integrating readiness initiatives across Sustainment teams to optimize fielded performance.

Who You Are The ideal candidate collaborates strategically, has experience in sustainment operations and field support activities, understands customer needs, and can provide guidance to ensure fulfillment of those needs. Experience in managing and delivering product support resources and integrating readiness initiatives across Sustainment teams is essential.

Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Desired Skills

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant and technical experience.

Wide variety of customer experience, with specific experience supporting a government customer.

Experience leading technical talent and building pipelines to sustain technical expertise within the organization.

Demonstrated development of independent and self‑motivated teams.

Demonstrated ability to mature and transition technology.

Experience with and/or supporting agile methodology and execution of work.

Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.

Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of connectivity and support of Sustainment to the overall success of the business.

Adept at working within matrix organizations for successful execution.

Excellent communication and relationship skills, both verbal and written, proven ability to communicate to all levels internally and externally.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate solutions that produce a positive outcome with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skill.

Ability to Work Remote Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Specific weekly schedule will be discussed during hiring.
