Job Description You will be the Field Operation (FO) Director for the Lines of Business (LOBs) which is responsible for supporting sustainment operations and delivering sustainment products and services.

What You Will Be Doing As the Field Operation (FO) Director, you will be responsible for leading the Field Operations team and serving as the principal point of contact for all matters. Your responsibilities will include:

Directing and executing sustainment operations to achieve schedule, technical, and quality performance targets in support of LOB strategies, goals, and objectives.

Providing strategic guidance to facilitate new business growth and business retention, and ensuring fulfillment of customer needs and achievement of customer satisfaction.

Leading field support activities, including onsite field support, non-air vehicle product support, and integrating delivery of product support solutions.

Managing and ensuring delivery of Product Support Resources, and reviewing and determining if requirements are supportable.

Deploying planning and contingency operations integration, and integrating readiness initiatives across Sustainment teams to optimize fielded performance.

Who You Are The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and strategic leader with experience in sustainment operations and field support activities. You will have a strong understanding of customer needs and be able to provide guidance and support to ensure fulfillment of those needs. You will also have experience in managing and delivering product support resources, and be able to integrate readiness initiatives across Sustainment teams.

Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Desired skills

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant and technical experience

Wide variety of customer experience, with specific experience supporting a government customer.

Experience in leading technical talent and building pipelines to sustain technical expertise within the organization.

Demonstrated development of Independent and self-motivated teams

Demonstrated ability to mature and transition technology

Experience with and/or supporting agile methodology and execution of work

Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.

Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $287,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered:
