Job Title Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location and Compensation Huntington Beach, CA. Hourly: $21.00 – $28.00. Part‑time: 9–15 hours per week.
Job Summary You will work as a direct service provider, assisting children with autism in developing essential skills through ABA‑based interventions, collaborating with families and a BCBA.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board‑Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
Observe, record, and report client progress and behavior daily.
Manage challenging behaviors using behavioral principles.
Assist clients in acquiring academic and appropriate life skills.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, behavior analysts, consultants, trainers, and clients.
Act as an active member of the treatment team.
Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes accurately and timely through an online database.
Participate in continuous training programs to increase overall skills.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
Follow BE policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
A genuine passion for working with children.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Prior experience with children is advantageous.
Interest in ongoing professional development.
Reliable transportation.
Successful completion of a company background check.
