Job Description
SUMMARY Support the ongoing development of new features, testing, documentation, training and provide business case analyst support of Joint Construction Management System (JCMS).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide business case analyst assistance of JCMS.
Provide input to the training material and class content for JCMS training while providing the training to students.
Support the ongoing development of new features, testing, documentation, training, and support of JCMS.
Update training material as well as documentation for training material.
Document issues with the JCMS software and Data into the AFCS REDi portal.
Support UROC trainers in providing up to 22 training events for a one-year period. The duration for each training event will normally be one week including travel.
Provide detailed database corrections on AFCS designs in JCMS.
Prepare a monthly report that summarizes each of the tasks associated with all performance objectives and provide to the Program Manager.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related role.
Advance computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software, SQL Server, IIS web servers, Active Directory servers or other infrastructure support application servers.
Must have or be able to obtain Security Clearance (generally, U.S. citizenship required).
Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Ability to conduct independent research and analyses.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
Excellent problem solving.
Must be able to work with both technical and non-technical team members and customers tailoring messages appropriately.
WORK SCHEDULE Part-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
TRAVEL Potential for travel. When required, employee will need to complete an MVR check. Travel in CONUS and occasionally OCONUS locations. The expected travel time is less than 50%.
DRIVING REQUIREMENT Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 50%.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is in an office environment; remote work must be approved by Program Manager.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking, crawling, or standing, occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
