Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty diesel engines, drive trains, braking systems, electrical systems, air conditioning, hydraulics, etc.
Perform scheduled maintenance inspections on trucks/trailers/fleet vehicles.
Use diagnostic equipment, interpret fault codes, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend preventive solutions.
Maintain clean, safe, efficient workspace. Keep tooling and parts organized.
Mentor less‑experienced techs and assist in training.
Document work performed, parts used, hours logged, and keep high quality/first‑time‑fix standards.
Meet productivity and quality goals while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of heavy‑duty diesel technician experience, preferably in trucks/trailers/fleet service.
Strong diagnosis skills and ability to read schematics and service manuals.
Familiarity with DOT regulations, fleet service requirements a plus.
Own tools (or willingness to acquire). Tool/boot allowances provided.
ASE certifications or equivalent heavy‑duty credentials preferred.
Good communicator, reliable, team‑oriented, committed to high quality work.
