Job Title: Project HSE Lead
Job Location: 13460 Lockwood Road, Houston, TX 77044
Duties:
Responsibilities include: Project HSE Lead acts as the interface and senior HSE Representative on the project management team. This role is directly responsible for providing guidance on the company and contractual HSE requirements. This role is dedicated to fostering a strong HSE culture by implementing core HSE programs, policies, and initiatives. Responsibilities include overseeing tendering for Subsea projects, conducting incident investigations, risk assessments and providing expert guidance. Additionally, the role involves being the focal point for HSE on projects, such as preparing project-specific HSE deliverables, and monitoring throughout the project and then managing HSE requirements on suppliers by audits and site visits. Environmental management responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations and assessing impacts and aspects and supporting permit compliance. Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of the time.

Requirements Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety & Environmental Management, Environmental Science or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Project HSE Lead-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
Experience in applicable software applications including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with Incident Investigation and Reporting/Root Cause Analysis subject matter expert.
Experience with Risk Assessment (Hazard Identification and risk assessment [HIRA] or bowtie.
Experience with offshore subsea hardware and installation.
Experience leading and conducting health, safety and environmental audits in accordance with industry and legal requirements and standards.
Experience conducting environmental aspects and impacts assessments.
Experience writing HSE procedures, standards and policies.
Experience completing project HSE deliverables such as HSE plan and Emergency response documents.
