Base pay range $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Lead the 2nd Shift to Operational Excellence When the 2nd shift clock starts, you take the helm. You walk the pressroom, scan the boards, check the maintenance log, and sync with operators and finishing teams. With Lean thinking and clear direction, you keep production flowing, quality tight, and orders shipping on time. Your leadership turns moving parts into a reliable rhythm.
Compensation: From $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
What you will do
Support the Production Manager by coordinating people, materials, and equipment across the 2nd shift to deliver products to company standards.
Own the schedule: track progress, anticipate risks to delivery, and take action to meet customer expectations.
Champion continuous improvement to reduce waste, increase throughput, and expand capacity.
Stay current on materials, technical print solutions, and production methods to lift quality, improve yields, and lower costs.
Ensure all manufacturing equipment is properly maintained and operating at peak performance.
Follow Environmental, Health & Safety policies and promptly report EHS hazards, incidents, and concerns to upper management.
Collaborate with peers and leadership so inter-department processes are clear, effective, and dependable.
Other duties as assigned.
What you bring
At least 1 year of related supervisory experience; 2 years preferred.
Proven leadership with strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to lead change and coach employees through new processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and theory.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to speak, read, and write English.
Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs and consistently following safety instructions and procedures.
