Brief Role Description

This position is

Career Level 19P , located in Reston, VA, with a Role Classification of

Hybrid .

Responsibilities within this Role

Delivering responsive service to customers (VW, dealers, internal), to include program-specific reporting (10%)

Timely creation and distribution of program bulletins and communications (10%)

Leads coordination and operationalization of programs and initiatives with Service Center, Remarketing, Legal/Compliance and other stakeholder groups (20%)

Maintenance of look, feel and content of program bulletins and handbooks to ensure clarity, simplicity and consistency that will support dealer and customer satisfaction (5%)

Communication, coordination and understanding of sales programs and initiatives across all parts of VCI, the Brands, and dealers to ensure efficient, error‑free program execution (5%)

Support and at times lead VWFS initiatives and customer deliverables, including internal/external communication and reporting. (25%)

Vendor management of key VWFS Business Operations partners (5%)

Continuous improvement of all Business Operations functions; drive efficiency, customer experience, incremental sales/profitability. Manage areas of the business and outcomes, not processes. (10%)

Provide back‑up support to the Business Development Specialist on items such as (10%):

Preparation and analysis of sales reports and the competitive environment using PIN Navigator, Business Objects, Access, Excel, Power Point, etc.

Point of contact for field related questions, including exception requests

Preparing monthly Pricing presentation

Program and Product cost/benefit analysis

Qualification requirements Required Experience:

5‑7 years’ of relevant experience required.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Desired Education:

Master’s Degree

Needed Skills:

Analytical Competence – accurately managing large amounts of data to support program operations, analytics including database mining, distilling complex data into simple presentation, and making business recommendations

Customer focus – VW brand and dealers

Project Management – coordinating various functions

Required Skills:

Excel proficient

Desired Skills:

Tableau proficient

Business Objects proficient

Sales Force proficient

Role Summary The Sales Operations Program Specialist has broad responsibilities for coordination, communication and implementation of sales programs to ensure efficient, error‑free execution. They will assist and sometimes lead in the coordination across multiple business functions to deliver customer solutions and VWFS initiatives. Additionally, the position backs‑up the Business Development Specialist.
