To care for ill, injured, disabled and convalescent persons by rendering general nursing care.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, including IV meds, if certified.
Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determine progress of residents.
Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes and oxygen suppliers.
Evaluate residents’ needs, condition and care and assist in developing nursing care plan for individual residents.
Qualifications
Current Florida LPN or RN license.
Experience in long-term care preferred.
Must possess good communications skills, both verbal and written in English. Spanish preferred.
Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
Basic math skills.

Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies.
Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.
