Job Overview
Manage production and non‑production parts, including Make, Buy, Furnished Material, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFP), and Government Furnished Aeronautical Equipment (GFAE). Maintain accurate inventory and ordering systems, coordinate with the Change Implementation Cell (CIC), and support material master accuracy. Responsibilities
Input MRP planning parameters, maintain optimum inventory levels, and execute order policy management. Coordinate material master accuracy with CIC and analyze MRP output for dependent and independent requirements. Release valid orders, maintain procurement systems, and manage Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) and less‑than lead time spares. Analyze and resolve scheduling/ordering deficiencies, including dock discrepancies and non‑receivables. Administer stop orders, terminations, and manage obsolete and surplus material closeouts.Adjust inventory as necessary, monitor shortages, and support just‑in‑time inventory for reorder point planning. Control domestic and co‑production inventories, reconcile non‑production items, and analyze bill of material for accurate relationships. Execute transfer orders, facilitate accommodation sales to suppliers, and perform post‑sales follow‑up. Approve non‑recurring extraneous (NRE) cost purchase requisitions. Assist in non‑production request (NPR) creation and expedite receiving reports. Evaluate reorder point (ROP) and fixed order quantity (FOQ) values, support team furnished equipment coordination, and collect data for status reporting. Document engineering action requests and repair records for GFAE and GFP. Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook). Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree OR CPIM certification through APICS. Desired Skills
