Team Description The Corporate Technology group is part of the Products organization. It delivers and supports the technology that powers Disney’s corporate functions, enterprise workflows, and service management platforms. Our scope spans the entire product lifecycle—from strategy and roadmaps to project delivery, engineering, and ongoing support—driving digital transformation across our business, workforce, and technology communities.
What You’ll Do The Staff Product Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for defining and driving the strategy, planning, and execution oversight for a portfolio of internal technology products. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and senior leaders to deliver solutions that generate measurable business value, primarily within the Global Warehouse Management System Modernization Program.
Own the vision and value proposition for a portfolio of business enablement products built around the Warehouse Management System.
Define product strategies and multi‑year roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals and customer priorities.
Act as a domain expert across multiple product areas, using data, user insights, and market knowledge to guide decisions.
Develop core product positioning, messaging, and strategic narratives that communicate product value to executive stakeholders.
Product Planning & Delivery Oversight
Create and maintain 12–24‑month product roadmaps delivering measurable business value.
Lead the development of product requirement documents (PRDs), prioritizing features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through development, launch, and sustainment.
Collaborate with agile delivery teams and Product Owners to ensure successful planning and execution of product initiatives.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
Build trusted relationships with business partners and segment leaders, serving as their primary point of contact for product direction and prioritization.
Facilitate ongoing alignment between enterprise technology and business partners to ensure products meet evolving needs and deliver strategic value.
Proactively identify opportunities for external partnerships, licensing, or integrations to accelerate product outcomes.
Serve as an escalation point for complex business inquiries, stakeholder concerns, and cross‑team dependencies.
Market Awareness & Competitive Landscape
Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and alternative products.
Conduct landscape analyses and deliver executive‑level presentations to inform strategic planning and product positioning.
Lead or support product pilots and beta programs to validate market fit and refine offerings based on feedback.
Financial Planning & Resource Management
Partner with business stakeholders to develop a 5‑year plan and annual operating budgets.
Manage product budgets and resource forecasts, collaborating with finance and PMO to ensure alignment with investment plans.
Develop internal product cost models and charge‑back frameworks that support sustainable operations.
Track budget performance and adjust forecasts based on licensing consumption, delivery progress, scope changes, and business needs.
Leadership, Coaching & Standards Development
Contribute to the maturity of product management by sharing best practices, frameworks, and templates across teams.
Mentor product managers, product owners, and analysts to elevate product thinking and delivery capability.
Lead cross‑functional product initiatives or special projects requiring complex coordination and strategic influence.

Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex products within a large, multi‑national corporation.
5+ years of implementing out‑of‑box capabilities or building solutions in warehouse management and/or SAP or BlueYonder within the Disney ecosystem.
Strong ability to define multi‑year product strategies, roadmaps, and to translate vision into executable plans.
Deep understanding of the warehouse management / SAP / BlueYonder platform, custom application development, integrations, and performance.
Hands‑on experience of all product lifecycle phases and proficiency with agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and tools (Jira, ADO).
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
Sound financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling.
Mentoring and leadership experience in product management maturity development.
Preferred Qualifications
Agile certifications: PMI‑ACP, CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, ICP‑ACC, etc.
Advanced product, platform, or agile courses or certifications.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field.
Preference for a Master’s or advanced degree in a related discipline (e.g., Business).
Salary and Benefits The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $141,900 – $190,300 per year. Compensation may vary based on internal equity, geography, and experience. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
