Role Overview The Planner/Scheduler II develops and manages production schedules, maintains accurate inventory levels, and proactively prevents material shortages to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly. This role works closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to align planning decisions with business goals while ensuring ERP and BOM accuracy. It also supports both domestic and international supply planning to secure materials on time and at the right cost. The Planner/Scheduler II plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency, preventing production delays, and ensuring on‑time delivery to customers.

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators
Develop and manage accurate production schedules to support customer demand and manufacturing capacity, ensuring schedule attainment meets established performance targets.
Maintain targeted inventory levels by monitoring forecasts, usage, lead times, and demand changes, supporting inventory turnover and minimizing excess or shortages.
Ensure ERP and BOM accuracy by maintaining clean planning data and updating material requirements ahead of runouts, supporting BOM accuracy and data integrity metrics.
Proactively identify and resolve parts shortages by expediting materials and coordinating cross‑functionally to prevent disruptions, helping reduce production delays and line stoppages.
Support international and domestic supply planning, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet production needs, contributing to on‑time order fulfillment and service level performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Knowledge of BOMs and maintaining ERP data accuracy.
Understanding of inventory management, scheduling concepts, and planning processes.
Hands‑on experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in production planning, scheduling, forecasting, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑demands manufacturing environment with shifting priorities.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
APICS/CPIM or other supply chain certification.
Experience improving or automating manual planning processes.
Exposure to Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience working with international suppliers or global supply chains.

Salary & Benefits The salary range for this position is $[65,000]– $[85,000] annually. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
