A company is looking for a Routing Engineer to support daily route planning and optimization for dedicated customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily route planning using transportation modeling software for operating teams
Monitor electronic processing of order files and produce optimal, executable multi-stop dedicated routes
Develop competency in engineering methods and Lean principles to improve transportation operations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
2 years or more of related work experience in the Transportation or Supply Chain Industry
0 to 1 year of Transportation Experience (Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Basic knowledge of Lean core tools / processes (e.g., 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management) preferred
