European Business Development Manager (BDM) – Europe

Remote / Field-based, Germany Travel:
Frequent travel across Europe (15–20 customer visits per month) Salary:
€70,000 – €90,000 (depending on experience)
Pressure Tech Ltd is growing year on year, and we’re expanding our Sales team to accelerate our presence across Europe. We’re known for delivering a first‑class customer experience and expert technical guidance on high‑pressure regulators—supporting some of the world’s largest OEMs with high‑quality solutions.
This is a pivotal role in our growth strategy. With Germany and surrounding regions offering major opportunities across hydrogen, oil & gas, aerospace and defence markets, you’ll help position Pressure Tech as the supplier of choice for high‑pressure regulator solutions—building strong customer relationships, developing new distribution channels, and driving profitable revenue growth.

The role (what you’ll be doing) You’ll generate consistent, profitable growth through a blend of
direct business development
and
reseller/distributor management , supported by strong planning and reporting discipline.
Key responsibilities include:
Work with the
Sales Manager
and
Marketing Manager
to set and deliver annual sales targets (overall and by territory).
Build and execute a European sales strategy to identify and prioritise the most profitable national markets.
Develop and grow a
strong reseller/distributor network
to ensure effective country coverage.
Provide training, support, and guidance to resellers to improve competence, productivity, and performance against agreed targets.
Deliver your own sales activity and technical‑commercial customer support to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
Represent Pressure Tech at
exhibitions and industry events
across Europe to increase brand awareness and pipeline.
Provide regular management information and forecasting to support progress tracking, future activity planning, and production scheduling.
Work within our ISO 9001 quality system and follow established procedures.
Maintain awareness of relevant European market requirements and regulations (e.g., hydrogen, aerospace, oil & gas standards).

What we’re looking for Experience / capability
Proven external sales experience (minimum 2 years)
Experience in
pressure regulators and/or valves
(highly preferred)
Experience managing and developing reseller/distributor partners
Strong planning, prioritisation, and target‑driven delivery
Skills
Confident communication (written and verbal)
Strong presentation skills
Comfortable using
CRM systems
Competent with Windows applications and MS Office
Self‑starter mindset: uses initiative to drive business and improve customer outcomes
Positive, collaborative, “team‑first” approach
Nice to have
Experience using
AI tools to improve productivity
(research, proposal drafting, account planning, CRM hygiene, etc.)
