Job Title: Project Supervisor/Foreman
We are seeking a dedicated Project Supervisor/Foreman to manage the safety, quality, schedules, and customer satisfaction of our construction projects. The role requires overseeing crews, handling project paperwork, and ensuring compliance with all guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage project safety, quality, and schedules to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work on tools when the crew size is small.
Oversee crews dispatched by Operations, potentially including multiple crews and supervisors.
Handle and be responsible for project paperwork.
Follow and communicate any deviations from the Estimator’s guidelines, particularly regarding changes in scope.
Receive and review the Estimator’s summarized plan before the start of work, ensuring it includes labor breakdown, schedules, equipment, and materials.
Provide all required project forms, including timesheets, safety forms, tracking forms, change orders, and purchasing forms.
Ensure all forms are completed timely and legibly, obtaining necessary customer signatures.
Manage manpower, addressing issues with lazy, unsafe, disruptive, or unqualified employees, including taking disciplinary actions and terminations.
Report to the assigned Estimator for project‑specific matters and the Operations Manager for other issues.
Foster relationships with clients and report potential business development opportunities to the estimator.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction and project management.
Proficiency in inventory tracking and blueprint reading.
Skills in construction inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Leadership experience in construction management.
