Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Handle billing activities, including generating invoices and monitoring payments.
- Execute data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Review and process invoices efficiently to support daily operations.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage accounting functions.
- Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain organized documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. Requirements - Proficiency in account reconciliation techniques.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Strong skills in billing and invoice processing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
