About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Construction for Data Centers, a senior executive role with a global focus. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, mission-critical developments across multiple regions. This includes providing strategic leadership to regional construction teams, ensuring disciplined capital management, and aligning construction outcomes with commercial, operational, and customer requirements. The role also involves acting as a central point of integration across internal functions and contributing to enterprise-level decision-making through rigorous cost planning, forecasting, and execution oversight.
Key responsibilities for the VP of Construction include executive oversight of construction activities, leading and mentoring regional construction leaders, maintaining accountability for capital expenditure, and directing the full construction lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10-15 years' leadership experience in construction management, particularly in the delivery of data centers or other mission-critical facilities. Advanced knowledge of cost planning, estimating, and capital budget control is essential, as is a proven ability to manage complex, large-scale construction programs. The role requires a clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and the willingness to travel extensively.
