About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational oversight of the preconstruction and project management teams, with a focus on commercial general contracting in new construction and renovations. This role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to multitask, and a proven track record of leadership, including managing a team of 10 or more. The Vice President of Construction will also be involved in executive strategy discussions, business development, client pursuits, and personnel management.
Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of commercial construction experience in the Washington DC, MD, or VA area, with a strong background in both new construction and renovation projects. The role demands a leader who can get 'hands-on' and is capable of multitasking in a small but growing team. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader, currently or previously in a Director, Executive, or VP role, and will be expected to be actively involved in all aspects of the business, from P&L analysis to hiring and personnel management.
