About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead and oversee nursing operations within its healthcare system. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance clinical quality and staff satisfaction, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational efficiency. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership to align nursing practices with organizational goals, developing and implementing policies to promote patient safety and regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the nursing department.
Key responsibilities for the CNO include managing budgets and resources, mentoring and developing nursing leaders, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science in Nursing or a related field, an active RN license, and a minimum of 8 years of progressive nursing leadership experience. A strong knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare laws, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven track record in recruiting, retaining, and developing nursing staff are essential. The CNO will also be expected to have experience in budget management and resource allocation within healthcare settings and to advocate for clinical priorities in executive decision-making processes.
