About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide high-level operational oversight at a 25-bed critical access hospital. The Interim CNO will be tasked with ensuring that all departments are adequately staffed in accordance with patient care standards and will work closely with senior leadership to maintain the quality of ancillary services. The role demands a strong, visible, and compassionate leader with a robust operational nursing background, technical proficiency, and expertise in change management. The ideal candidate will be adept at building relationships with both clinical staff and leadership, and will have a strong focus on accountability, action plans, and driving results.
Candidates for the Interim CNO position must have a BSN and an active RN license in Oregon. While not mandatory, experience in a critical access hospital setting is highly valued. The successful candidate will be expected to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and should be prepared to take on the responsibilities of the role with a high level of commitment and dedication. The Interim CNO will play a pivotal role in the organization, and as such, the ability to lead with compassion, make tough decisions, and ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care is of utmost importance.
