Therapeutic Training & Support Staff / Therapeutic Mentor -

This is a bachelor’s level dual position where you would be taking cases as both a Therapeutic Training & Support Staff (TT&S) in the IHT program and a Therapeutic Mentor (TM) in the TM Program. Fuller Hospital

is a 109-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Inpatient units treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. Fuller Hospital also provides a less intensive Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). About our Community Service Programs (IHT and TM Programs):

Our Community Services Program houses two separate programs – The In-Home Therapy Program (IHT) and the Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) Program: IHT is a service that provides youth with intensive therapy and family sessions in the home, guided by a master’s-level clinician (IHT) and a bachelor’s-level support staff (TT&S).

TM is less intensive and involves taking the child/adolescent out into the community to work on skills such as daily living, social and communication skills, and connecting the client to community resources. Role Descriptions: Therapeutic Training & Support Staff (TT&S)

Within the IHT program, the bachelor’s level TT&S works alongside a master’s level In-Home Therapist to provide mental and behavioral health services to children/adolescents and their families in their homes. The IHT facilitates family sessions that the TT&S would co-facilitate when able. The TT&S also works with the client individually, practicing and building the various skills they’ve learned. Therapeutic Mentor (TM)

Within the TM program, the TM takes the client out into the community to work on skill building and identifying community resources. The TM will have a MA level “Hub” (either an ICC, IHT, or OPT already on the client’s case) whom they will speak with weekly and obtain guidance with interventions and treatment.
