In-Home Youth & Family Therapist Opportunity – 24, 32, or 40 hours per week Fuller Hospital is a 109‑bed private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Massachusetts that provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The In‑Home Therapy Program delivers intensive youth and family therapy in the home, guided by a master’s‑level clinician (IHT) and a bachelor’s‑level support staff (TT&S). The program meets families multiple times per week to improve family dynamics and transition clients to lower‑level care such as outpatient therapy.

Responsibilities

Facilitate intensive in‑home family therapy sessions with youth under 21 and their families to promote healthy functioning within the family.

Implement therapeutic interventions, parent coaching, crisis intervention, psycho‑education, and other evidence‑based practices.

Co‑facilitate sessions and manage case planning with the assigned bachelor's‑level para‑professional (TT&S).

Complete progress notes, comprehensive assessments, safety plans, treatment plans, and other required paperwork.

Provide crisis calls, skills coaching, and case coordination as needed.

Coordinate with collateral contacts and provide community resource referrals to sustain treatment progress.

Position Structure Client Diagnoses:

Trauma, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, ODD, and other presenting problems.

Hours:

Part‑time (24 hrs) or full‑time (32 or 40 hrs). Create a schedule that fits clients’ availability; sessions often take place in the afternoons after school but can also be scheduled during the day or on weekends.

Caseload:

Part‑time (24 hrs) – 4‑6 cases; full‑time – 8‑10 cases. No set client number; schedule based on hours.

Geographic Area:

Southeast MA (Attleboro, Taunton, Mansfield, Foxboro) and New Bedford/Fall River for clinicians in that region.

Supervision and Meetings

One hour per week of face‑to‑face supervision with a licensed clinician (in‑person or Zoom). Weekly group supervision is also offered.

Staff meetings: mandatory, 1 hour per week on Thursdays 12‑1 pm via Zoom with one in‑person meeting per month.

Paperwork

Progress notes and billing due Monday 2:00 pm. Progress notes for each client documented throughout the week.

CANS assessments and treatment plan updates due every 3 months.

Admin staff files all paperwork into charts. Insurance authorizations obtained by UHS.

Telehealth Both telehealth and in‑person, socially distant sessions are available; families and clinicians decide the modality.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in counseling or social work related field.

Licensure or licensure eligibility preferred. Outpatient or home‑based social work experience preferred.

Second‑year master’s students may be eligible to intern as an IHT through a paid internship.
