Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs, focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.
Educator Pay Rate:
$16.00-$18.00 (based on education and experience)
Program Hours:
Monday through Friday 2:00PM - 6:00PM (Hours may vary based on location)
You’ll Drive The Mission By
Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and maintain team accountability.
Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with program objectives; organize and lead structured activities that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
Lead by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment while ensuring children enjoy themselves and meet program goals; model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documentation of attendance, incidents, and observations.
Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following
Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
Works well in a team environment.
At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
Virginia Requirements
Meet state‑specific requirements.
First Aid and CPR (in‑person).
Cleared tuberculosis test.
Proof of MMR vaccination.
18+ years of age.
Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
