Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity offers a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist position supporting multiple K-12 schools in the Silver Spring, MD area. The assignment starts mid-February with various placement options across several elementary and middle schools within a large public school district. The contract extends through June 12, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Provide in-person speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12. Manage and maintain individualized caseloads according to school assignment. Collaborate with school teams, families, and staff to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies. Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to student education plans. Caseload and Schedule Details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Mid-February start at Dayton Oaks Elementary (5 days/week). April start options: Ellicott Mills Middle School (5 days/week), Thomas Viaduct Middle School (4 days/week) paired with Jeffers Hill Elementary (1 day/week), or Laurel Woods Elementary (5 days/week). May start options: Burleigh Manor Middle School (2 days/week) paired with Hammond Middle School (3 days/week). Contract ends June 12, 2026. Qualifications: Active Maryland SLP license required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred. Experience working in school-based SLP roles is essential. Ability to work in-person at assigned school locations (virtual candidates will not be considered). Benefits: Opportunity to gain diverse experience across multiple school environments.
