Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in Ellicott City, MD, supporting multiple schools throughout the academic year. This contract position covers a leave assignment with a flexible start date depending on the assigned location. Responsibilities include providing speech and language services to students across various elementary and middle schools in the district. The role requires delivering 37.5 hours per week of in-person support, working closely with school teams to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs. Caseload assignments and start dates are as follows: Mid-February Start: Dayton Oaks Elementary (5 days/week) April Start: Ellicott Mills Middle School (5 days/week) Thomas Viaduct Middle School (4 days/week, paired) Jeffers Hill Elementary School (1 day/week, paired) Laurel Woods Elementary School (5 days/week) May Start: Burleigh Manor Middle School (2 days/week, paired) Hammond Middle School (3 days/week, paired) The contract concludes on June 12, 2026. Qualifications: Active Maryland licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Reliable in-person availability; virtual candidates will not be considered at this time Benefits of this position include exposure to diverse student populations and the potential for continued employment into the 2026-2027 school year based on performance and experience.
