Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available supporting K-12 students across multiple school locations in Rockville, MD. This leave position offers the chance to apply your specialized skills within a dynamic school district, providing vital communication support to diverse student populations. Location:

Mid-February 2024 through June 12, 2026 Schedule:

37.5 hours per week, full-time hours during school days Assignment Details: Dayton Oaks Elementary 5 days/week starting mid-February Ellicott Mills Middle School 5 days/week starting April Thomas Viaduct Middle School 4 days/week (paired assignment) and Jeffers Hill Elementary School 1 day/week (paired assignment) starting April Laurel Woods Elementary School 5 days/week starting April Burleigh Manor Middle School 2 days/week (paired assignment) and Hammond Middle School 3 days/week (paired assignment) starting May Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support Qualifications & Experience: Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license required Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience providing SLP services in school settings K-12 Ability to work in person across multiple school locations (virtual candidates will not be considered) Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload This contract role offers professional growth opportunities and the potential for extension into the 2026-2027 school year based on performance and district needs.
