Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time-management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00–$15.00 depending on skills and experience.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours are between 15–23 hours.

Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities Will Include

Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys. Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.

Holiday support: Provide additional days and extended hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays, work may be required on the holiday itself and on weekends.

Department resets: Assist with installations, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Notifications typically occur two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, and may include evening or weekend work.

Team vision: Support other merchandisers in the network as needed in their territories.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires high energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Capability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Proficient with a digital handheld device for opening and reading documents.

Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
