Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Hayward, CA. This contract position runs through the current school year with onsite responsibilities focused solely on Pre-K intake assessments. Candidates must hold a valid California State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs. A clear or professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing is preferred but not required. Key Qualifications: California licensure as an SLP from the Department of Consumer Affairs (required) Educator credential is a plus but not mandatory Proven experience conducting Pre-K intake speech and language assessments Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities are highly preferred Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) are not eligible Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration within the school environment Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language intake assessments for Pre-K students onsite Document and report assessment findings accurately and timely Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families regarding student needs and recommendations Maintain compliance with state and district regulations related to speech services Location: Hayward, California Position Type: Contract, Current School Year Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Onsite work required; no remote work available This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply specialized skills in a supportive educational setting.
