Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school located in San Francisco, CA. This on-site, contract role focuses exclusively on Pre-K intake assessments, providing a vital service at the start of children's educational journey. This position requires a licensed professional who can deliver specialized speech-language services in a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive Pre-K intake speech and language assessments. Collaborate with educational staff to support early intervention strategies. Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with district guidelines. Engage with families to provide assessment feedback and guidance. Qualifications and Experience: Valid State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). A Clear/Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Teaching Commission (CTC) or equivalent licensure meeting 5 CCR 3051.1 standards. Experience working within school settings preferred; Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is highly valued. Candidates currently holding Clinical Fellow (CF) status will not be considered. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities are strongly preferred. Additional Details: Location: San Francisco, CA (on-site required; remote work not permitted). Contract duration: Immediate start through June 3, 2026. Full-time, 40-hour workweek.
