Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a Pre-K intake assessment role at an elementary school in Oakland, CA. This on-site, contract position runs through June 3, 2026, with a full-time 40-hour workweek. The focus is exclusively on administering intake assessments for Pre-K students, providing critical early support within the school setting. Desired qualifications include: Valid Speech Language Pathologist licensure from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) in California Clear/Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) preferred but not required Experience working in school environments, especially with elementary-aged children Candidates with bilingual skills or fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) are highly encouraged to apply Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year will not be considered for this role Primary responsibilities: Conduct thorough Pre-K intake speech and language assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with school teams to support early intervention planning Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to district policies and procedures for speech-language services Communicate effectively with families and educators regarding assessment findings and recommendations This opportunity provides a chance to contribute directly to early childhood development in a structured school setting.
