$15.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable
Furniture Sewing Machine Operator
to join our production team. This role is responsible for constructing upholstered furniture components by operating industrial sewing machines and working from patterns and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, maintains high quality standards, and can meet daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble upholstery components
Stitch materials including fabric, leather, and vinyl according to patterns and work orders
Set up machines for specific jobs, including threading, tension adjustments, and material alignment
Inspect finished pieces for quality, ensuring proper alignment and no skipped or uneven stitches
Perform routine machine maintenance such as oiling, cleaning, and changing needles
Meet established production quotas while maintaining quality standards
Follow all safety, quality, and efficiency guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred
Ability to read and follow patterns, measurements, and production instructions
Experience sewing furniture components such as cushions, panels, or slings is a plus
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials throughout the shift
