Lead Carpenter
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to take a hands‑on leadership role on residential job sites. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in all phases of residential construction and remodeling, communicates well with clients and teams, and can lead a crew while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day‑to‑day execution of custom residential construction projects
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Frame, install trim, cabinetry, windows, doors, and other finish work
Manage and mentor carpentry team members and apprentices on site
Coordinate with subcontractors and communicate progress with the project manager
Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe
Track materials, report progress, and flag potential issues proactively
Maintain positive client relationships and represent the company professionally
Qualifications
5+ years of carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of residential framing, finish work, and remodeling best practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Self‑starter who can work independently and with a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus
