Process Technician
We are looking for a talented Process Technician to join our growing team. This opportunity focuses on supporting complex program launches and improving production efficiency in the injection molding industry.
Key Responsibilities
Safety first mindset. Ensure all safety features are functioning, such as drop bars and safety switches.
Maximize uptime on all machine centers to reduce downtime.
Set molds, start up, and troubleshoot the injection molding process.
Document all process parameters on Master Setup Sheets.
Ensure all process parameters and mold protection settings meet specifications.
Make necessary adjustments to prevent part defects.
Respond to all quality and operator issues regarding parts and processes.
Maintain and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Drive reduction of scrap through elimination of mold conditions using corrective action and mold maintenance forms.
Always maintain a neat and clean environment.
Identify maintenance concerns/issues and assist with resolution.
Participate in mold change activities to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
Assist with training Process Technicians and Operators as needed.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
3‑5 years of experience troubleshooting injection molding preferred.
Experience in mold set‑ups and troubleshooting.
Willingness to stay current with technology through continuous education.
Working knowledge of plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.
Experience in thermoplastic injection molding required.
Knowledge of injection mold machines, tools, plastics, and robotics.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, use hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity, and sit for long periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
