Our office is expanding, and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our outstanding team. We are currently seeking to fill a full-time position. The Insurance Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintaining knowledge of our products, and answering any questions our clients may have.
Preferred candidate will have an active Property and Casualty insurance license. Insurance industry experience and knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit when relating to customers in the beginning for this position.
Responsibilities
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Solicit for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
Treat each customer contact as a cross and up‑sell opportunity including financial products.
Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold‑calling, and lead databases.
Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.
Requirements
Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Driven and goal‑oriented individual.
Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
Interested in a sales career, sales experience preferred.
No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn.
