Operating Mechanic The ideal candidate will support chemical or industrial operations in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. this role offers growth opportunities in heavy equipment operation and industrial maintenance .
What you’ll do:
Safely operate heavy equipment including payloader, skid loader, and forklift
Assist with routine industrial maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Comply with all safety and environmental policies
Work outdoors occasionally in varying weather conditions
What you’ll need:
High School Diploma or GED (required); Associate degree in Process Technology or related discipline (preferred)
Basic computer skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain a
TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Proficient in reading and writing English
Ability to make operational judgments while distributing materials or operating equipment
1–2 years in an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing setting
Exposure to industrial maintenance tasks (e.g., basic mechanical repairs, equipment inspections)
Experience operating Heavy equipment such as:
Payloader
Skid Loader
