Responsibilities
Draft and prepare employment-based non‑immigrant visa petitions, maintain case records and audit files, and develop guidance materials for employees and management on immigration compliance.
Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining the company’s export control policies, manuals, and guidance; develop internal compliance training, conduct periodic compliance monitoring, and facilitate internal and external compliance audits.
Help draft and update data privacy policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant privacy regulations; monitor and research changes in federal regulations; maintain and track document retention and performance; and administer the company’s document retention and legal‑hold policies.
Assist with corporate governance matters, including meeting minutes, consents, business licenses, and corporate filings; develop corporate governance policies and procedures; organize and maintain the legal department’s documents and records; and track, review, edit, and update company policies and procedures.
Support additional legal functions such as Commercial, Real Estate, Governance, Litigation, Insurance, and Vehicle Administration, as workload requires.
Demonstrate strict attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in all work.
Respond promptly to internal client requests and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
Collaborate effectively within a team‑based environment.
Organize and prioritize a constantly shifting workload.
Maintain proficiency with computer applications, especially the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility required at the time of hire.
Experience in immigration, compliance, privacy, or corporate governance is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment.
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Notary public preferred but not required.
