We are seeking a Counsel at our Superior Township, MI location to perform key legal duties, including:
Drafting and reviewing contracts related to intellectual property, cybersecurity, privacy, and technical aspects.
Ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations, managing data privacy and protection strategies.
Supporting cybersecurity compliance and risk management strategies.
Performing export compliance activities, including licensing and documentation.
Handling overflow legal work as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, team player, detail-oriented, eager to learn, self-motivated, confident, and able to handle sensitive information. Strong planning, organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in a STEM field, Juris Doctor, admission to the Michigan Bar, 2-5 years of legal experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred experience includes in-house legal work.
