Job Description We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in managing a diverse caseload spanning Family Law, Civil Defense, Corporate matters, and Estates. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, thorough knowledge of legal procedures, and the ability to handle multiple cases with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions related to Family Law, Civil Defense, Corporate, and Estate cases.
Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and settlement agreements.
Conduct legal research and fact gathering to support case strategy and preparation.
Manage case files, maintain calendars, and deadlines for court appearances and filings.
Organize and summarize depositions, interrogatories, case notes, and other legal materials.
Support transactional work in Corporate and Estate matters, including document preparation and due diligence.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of paralegal experience with a strong focus on Litigation in Family Law, Civil Defense, Corporate, and Estates.
Paralegal certification or degree preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw) and case management software.
Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Salary and Other Compensation The base salary for this position is between $70,000 – $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
