Litigation Paralegal - Long Term Care Defense
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Salary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00

Litigation Paralegal
with a strong background in
long-term care defense . This role supports attorneys handling complex litigation matters and requires candidates to
live in the state of Tennessee .
Responsibilities
Provide litigation support for long-term care defense matters from inception through trial
Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
Assist with case strategy by organizing and analyzing medical records and other case materials
Coordinate and manage discovery, including responses, document production, and depositions
Maintain case files, deadlines, and calendars to ensure compliance with court rules
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as directed
Qualifications
2+ years of litigation paralegal experience , with
specific experience in long-term care or nursing home defense required
Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules
Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
Must reside in Tennessee
