We’re partnering with a Japanese Industrial Solutions provider who is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join their Inside Sales team in Itasca, IL. This position provides a pathway to future advancement within the Inside Sales team.
Job Title Customer Service Associate
Status Full Time Direct Hire Non-Exempt
Base Pay Range $40,000.00/yr – $45,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Support customers by preparing quotes, processing orders, and tracking shipments
Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams to provide timely responses and maintain positive relationships.
Learn and navigate our ERP and CRM systems to ensure smooth daily operations
Accurately operate the ERP system to prepare quotes, process orders, and manage data flow.
Collaborate with vendors, logistics, and colleagues to resolve routine order or delivery issues and to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Maintain accurate records and provide responsive, reliable service
Qualifications
Strong desire and ability to learn new processes quickly
Attention to accuracy and detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer-oriented mindset with a professional demeanor
Ability to work well in a team setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Gmail, ERP systems, CRM tools, and related software
