Maintenance Technician

Job Highlights We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the maintenance team as a

Maintenance Technician . You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring the place they call home is a safe and attractive living environment. This position functions to maintain and repair the equipment, operating systems, structure, and grounds of the residence.

Responsibilities

Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety

Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment

Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs

Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors

Communicating effectively with residents and staff

Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance

Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements, as required
